Oklahoma Children’s Hospital OU Health Introduces Chief Nursing Officer

OKLAHOMA CITY – Stefanie Beavers, DNP, R.N., NEA-BC, has been named chief nursing officer for Oklahoma Children's Hospital OU Health.
Beavers brings 15 years nursing practice and administration expertise to Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. She was most recently associate chief nursing officer at the University of Texas, Arlington, where she also held a faculty appointment as clinical assistant professor in the College of Nursing and Healthcare Innovation.
“I am so pleased to welcome Dr. Beavers,” said Julie Hoff, OU Health interim chief nurse executive and dean of the Fran and Early Ziegler OU College of Nursing. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to Oklahoma Children’s Hospital. I look forward to working with her to advance nursing and impact the health of Women and Children in Oklahoma and beyond.”
Beavers earned a bachelor of science in nursing degree from Texas Tech University, a master of science in nursing administration and a doctor of nursing practice from the University of Texas, Arlington.
