Eric J. Johnson, MBA, CPA, Senior Associate Dean at the OU College of Pharmacy at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, has been recognized with an honorary membership in the American Pharmacists Association (APhA).
Johnson was recognized for his dedication to student pharmacists through his role at the OU College of Pharmacy. He also has provided time and service to APhA and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and has had a substantial influence on pharmacy education and practice.
Honorary membership in APhA is conferred upon individuals, either within the profession of pharmacy or outside of it, whose activities and achievements have had a significant positive effect on public health, the pharmacy profession and its practitioners.
Honorees will be officially recognized next spring during the APhA awards program. The APhA is the largest association representing all of pharmacy, bringing together practicing pharmacists, pharmaceutical scientists, student pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and others to support pharmacists' ability to deliver optimal patient care.
