OU Health Invests $50 Million in Workforce

OU Health has invested $50 million in its workforce since merging its hospitals and clinics into a single entity on July 1.

Chemo brain is an underrecognized but potentially debilitating side effect of cancer treatment. The phenomenon, formally known as chemotherapy-related cognitive impairment, can arise while patients are undergoing treatment, and it can persist months to years later.

Free COVID-19 testing for children and adolescents age 17 and younger offered daily at Oklahoma Children’s Hospital beginning Tuesday, Sept. 28.

Research results find comparable effectiveness between two medications and will guide further studies.
