PEDIATRIC SLEEP MEDICINE SPECIALIST JOINS OU CHILDREN’S PHYSICIANS

OKLAHOMA CITY – Chee Yoon Shim Bauer, M.D., a pediatric sleep medicine specialist, has established her medical practice with OU Children’s Physicians. She has also been named a clinical assistant professor with the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.
Bauer is board certified in pediatrics and board eligible in internal medicine and sleep medicine. She sees pediatric patients with sleep disorders, including sleep-disordered breathing, circadian rhythm sleep-awake disorders, narcolepsy, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, REM sleep behavior disorder and more.
Bauer completed a sleep medicine fellowship at the OU College of Medicine. She also completed her internal medicine/pediatrics residency and earned her medical degree at the OU College of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in biochemistry from OU in Norman.

Bauer is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, American College of Physicians and American Academy of Pediatrics.
