Board-Certified Family Medicine Provider Joins OU Physicians

Kathryn E. Klump, M.D., Ph.D., a board-certified family medicine physician, has established her medical practice with OU Physicians. She has also been named an assistant professor with the department of Family and Preventative Medicine and with the department of Cell Biology at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

As a family medicine physician, Klump provides primary care services for adults and children, including providing prenatal services, labor and delivery and newborn care.

Klump completed a family medicine residency on the sports medicine track and served as chief resident at the OU College of Medicine. She completed her family medicine internship at the OU College of Medicine, where she also earned her medical degree. She earned her doctorate in neuroscience/anatomical sciences, graduating with outstanding distinction, from the Oklahoma Center for Neuroscience at the OU Health Sciences Center. She earned her undergraduate degree in biology, graduating magna cum laude from Oral Roberts University, Tulsa.

Klump is a member of the Society for Teachers in Family Medicine, American Association of Anatomists, American Academy of Family Physicians, American Association of Clinical Anatomists, Oklahoma State Medical Association and the Christian Medical & Dental Association.
