Fellowship-trained Endocrinologist Joins OU Medicine

Mitali Talsania, M.D., a fellowship-trained endocrinologist, has established her practice with OU Medicine. She will see patients in Harold Hamm Diabetes Center. She has also been named an assistant professor with the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine.

Endocrinologists specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the endocrine system. These may include, but are not limited to diabetes, thyroid disorders, calcium and bone metabolism, osteoporosis, hypertension, pituitary and adrenal diseases. 

Talsania specializes in diagnosing and treating bone disease, thyroid and diabetes and will be conducting thyroid biopsies. She is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in endocrinology. 

Talsania completed an endocrinology fellowship at the OU College of Medicine, where she also completed her residency. She earned her medical degree in India.

Talsania is a member of the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists.
